What the hell is this??

This site was designed as a project to synthisize and convey real price data from one of the most efficient goods markets on the internet - Craigslist.

In its current incarnation, CraigslistIndex aggregates housing, realestate, personal listings and vehicle data from nearly 300 Craigslist locales throughout the day. With an ever-growing database, price data is filtered and updated on the interface. While there are many reports and directions for expansion on the proverbial 'whiteboard' suggestions and requests will be gladly fielded.

This site was built by Jesse Manuel, a graduate of Tufts University with a degree in Economics. The goal of this site is neither to make money, nor to replicate Craigslist. Contrarily, the purpose of this site is to answer questions that we have always asked but did not have the data to answer.
